Details on results:
The calculation following the equation:
log(POW )=log(C_O/C_W ) (With: C_O = solubility in water at 20 °C; C_W = solubility in n-octanol at 20 °C)
gives an estimated log POW of 2.6.
Conclusions:
The logPOW of diisobutyl phosphate was estimated by calculaton. As for the 1-octanol solubility no exact value could be determined since the test substance is expected to be miscible with n-octanol in any ratio, the result is given as: log POW ≥ 2.6.
Executive summary:

The estimation of the log POW is performed by calculation with the determined water solubility and the determined 1-octanol solubility. The determined water solubility from study 2020/0002/07 according to is 22.3 g/L. Solubility tests in ratios 1+10, 1+1 and 10+1 (w/w) of the test item in 1-octanol were performed and the test item is expected to be soluble in n-octanol in any ratio. Hence the 1-octanol solubility was determined to be ≥ 8259 g/L.

The calculation with these values gives an estimated log POW of 2.6, following the equation:

log(POW )=log(CO/CW )

As for the 1-octanol solubility no exact value could be determined, the result is given as:

log POW ≥ 2.6.

Description of key information

The estimation of the log POW is performed by calculation with the determined water solubility and the determined 1-octanol solubility. The determined water solubility is 22.3 g/L.

The determined value for 1-octanol solubility is ≥ 8259 g/L. As for the 1-octanol solubility no exact value could be determined, the result is estimated as: log Pow ≥ 2.6 by calculation.
