Executive summary:

The thermal stability and decomposition point of diisobutyl phosphate was investigated by DTA/DSC corresponding to A.1., Council Regulations EC No 440/2008 and OECD 102 / OECD 113. The sample was weighed in a crucible made of aluminum, cooled down in a DTA/DSC-system to - 100 °C, tempered for 10 minutes and then heated up to 450 °C (heating rate 5 K/min) in air (1013 kPa). In comparison with an inert sample (empty crucible) the temperature difference and the heat effect was recorded.

No melting point could be detected.
