After evaporation or exposure to the air, the product will be rapidly degraded by photochemical processes.
An AOP v1.92 calculation is available for the estimation of the
photodegradation in the atmosphere. For this calculation a 24-hour day
as well as a sensitizer-concentration (OH-radicals) of 500000
molecules/cm³ were assumed. The calculated rate constant of 66.3E-12
cm³/molecule-sec results in a half-life in the atmosphere of approx.
0.24 days (BASF SE 2011).
