Description of key information

Ni-constituent: not applicable
Citrat-constituent: readily biodegradable

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The two constituents of Nickel hydrogencitrate must be regarded separately: the Nickel-constituent is inorganic and therefore, biodegradation is not applicable. The citrat-constituent is readily biodegradable, shown in various test systems like e.g. OECD 301E, coupled units test, AFNOR or Sturm test.
