Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets

Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

not flammable on ignition

not pyrophoric

not flammable on contact with water

not self-heating

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Flammability:
not classified

Additional information

Substance is not flammable, as there are no chemical groups associated with pyrophoric properties present in the molecule, and flammabuility in

contact with water is not expected, based on chemical structure and the fact that the substance is registered as aqueous solution. Also, self-heating is not likely, since substance is registered as an aqueous solution. Finally, flammability on ignition is not expected, as it is registerd as a substance 30% in water.

Justification for classification or non-classification

The available data on flammability of the test substance do not meet the criteria for classification according to Regulation (EC) 1272/2008, and are therefore conclusive but not sufficient for classification:

Substance is not flammable, as there are no chemical groups associated with pyrophoric properties present in the molecule, and flammability in

contact with water is not expected, based on chemical structure and the fact that the substance is registered as aqueous solution. Also, self-heating is not likely, since substance is registered as an aqueous solution. Finally, flammability on ignition is not expected, as it is registered as a substance 30% in water.
