- Details on results:
- The solubility of Amberonne SHK in milli-Q water at a flow rate of 25 mL/hour and 12.5 mL/hour was found to be 2.45 mg/L and 2.49 mg/L, respectively. The calculated mean concentration was determined to be 2.47 mg/L at
20°C. - Conclusions:
- Method validation parameters evaluated for the test item meet the acceptance criteria. The results obtained are within the specified limits. Thus, this method is suitable for the analysis of the test item. The solubility of the test item in milli-Q water is found to be 2.47 mg/L at 20°C with pH 7.0.
- Executive summary:
The water solubility of the test item was determined as per OECD guideline for the testing of chemicals, No. 105. The water solubility of the test item was found to be less than 10^-2 g/L in milli-Q water during the preliminary test. For further confirmation the definitive test was performed in milli-Q water under laboratory conditions at 20°C by the column elution method. The samples were analyzed for test item concentration by gas chromatography. The solubility of the test item in milli-Q water at a flow rate of 25 mL/hour and 12.5 mL/hour was found to be 2.45 mg/L and 2.49 mg/L, respectively. The calculated mean concentration was determined to be 2.47 mg/L at 20°C. Method validation parameters evaluated for the test item meet the acceptance criteria. The results obtained are within the specified limits. Thus, this method is suitable for the analysis of the test item. The solubility of the test item in milli-Q water is found to be 2.47 mg/L at 20°C with pH 7.0.
