A vapour pressure value of 1.1 Pa has been determined by the use of an appropriate validated QSAR method, and is selected as the key study. Several supporting studies available, to which reliability could not be assigned, give values of 0.3 Pa at 20°C, extrapolated from different studies of varying reliability, and 30 Pa at 20°C and <133 Pa at 20°C, in studies for which no details on methodology are available.

Differences in the vapour pressures can be caused by minor volatile impurities in the test substances. These values show inconsistencies although all indicate that the vapour pressure of the substance is low.

The vapour pressure of the silanol hydrolysis product has been predicted to be 0.000017 Pa at 20 °C, using a validated QSAR prediction method. The result is considered to be reliable.
