Skin irritation/corrosion:
Five GLP-compliant studies in New Zealand White rabbits were conducted in accordance with internationally accepted guidelines. Maximum mean scores for oedema and erythema (24 to 72 h) were 0 and 0.1. It is therefore concluded that dicopper chloride trihydroxide is not classified on the basis of skin irritation/corrosivity.

Eye irritation/corrosion:
Four GLP-compliant studies in New Zealand White rabbits were conducted in accordance with internationally accepted guidelines. Maximum average scores for cornea, iris, conjunctiva redness and chemosis were equal to 1, 0.4, 1.9 and 1.3 respectively. It is therefore concluded that dicopper chloride trihydroxide is not classified on the basis of eye irritation/corrosivity.
