Workers - Hazard for the eyes

Local effects

Hazard assessment conclusion:
no hazard identified

Additional information - workers

There were no adverse effects of relevance to humans in any of the available long-term mammalian toxicity studies of 2-(3,4-epoxycyclohexyl) ethyl triethoxy silane up to the limit dose for testing. A DNEL for systemic toxicity therefore was not calculated and a quantitative risk assessment is not considered necessary for the substance.

Additional information - General Population

There were no adverse effects of relevance to humans in any of the available long-term mammalian toxicity studies of 2-(3,4-epoxycyclohexyl) ethyl triethoxy silane up to the limit dose for testing. A DNEL was therefore not determined for the substance. Qualitative assessment covers the effects of sensitization.
