Additional information

A GLP study following OECD guideline 203 is available for Fatty acids, C16-18 and C18-unsatd., hexaesters with dipentaerythritol (CAS 68604-38-6) (Caduff, 2013). The test was conducted as a limit test with Zebra fish (Danio rerio) as test organisms. The study was set up in a static test system. The fish were exposed to the water accommodated fraction (WAF) of the test substance. At test termination after 96 hours a LL50 >100 mg/L (NOEC ≥ 100 mg/L) based on nominal test substance concentrations (loading rate) was determined. Thus no effect was observed within the limit of water solubility (<0.15 mg/L).
