Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

half lives ranged from 2.8 to 22.3 day, EPA 161-1, , Glänzel 1999.
half lives ranged from 2.7 to 21.1 days, EPA 161-1, Nicollier 1999.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The half life of the test material was determined in two hydrolysis studies, provided as a weight of evidence to address this endpoint.

Glänzel (1999) and Nicollier (1999) determined that the test material was unstable at pH levels ranging from 4 to 9, where hydrolysis was faster under acidic conditions. Both studies report similar half lives at 25ºC, according to Glänzel (1999) the half lives ranged from 2.8 and 22.3 days, and between 2.7 to 21.1 days according to Nicollier (1999). Additionally the same three major metabolites were identified and a degradation pathway was proposed.

Both studies were performed according to GLP, in line with standardised guidelines, with a high standard of reporting and have thus been assigned a reliability score of 1 in line with the principles for assessing data quality set out by Klimisch (1997). The available data are considered to be complete.
