JUSTIFICATION FOR DATA WAIVING
In accordance with Annex IX, Column 2, Section 9.1, long-term toxicity tests on aquatic organisms are only required if the Chemical Safety Assessment, according to Annex I, indicates the need to investigate further the effects on aquatic organisms. The Chemical Safety Assessment for this substance confirms that no unacceptable risks to aquatic organisms exist under the defined conditions of use, based on the PNECs derived from the available data-set, which consists of acute toxicity studies on fish. No long-term testing on fish is therefore proposed.
