Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Type:
relative density
Density:
1.003 other: no value, because rel density
Temp.:
45 °C

relative density is calculated to water at 4 °C:

rel dens = Density (g/mL) / Density of water at 4 °C ( 0,999975 g/mL) = 1.003 g/mL / 0.999975 g/mL = 1.003

Conclusions:
Density at 45°C = 1.003 g/mL
Executive summary:

The density at 45°C of the test substance was determined to be 1.003 g/mL in a non-GLP test according to OECD 109. Relative density of the substance at 45 °C to water at 4 °C is 1.003.

Description of key information

The density at 45°C of the test substance was determined to be 1.003 g/mL in a non-GLP test according to OECD 109. Relative density of the substance at 45 °C to water at 4 °C is 1.003.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Relative density at 20C:
1.003

Additional information

The density at 45°C of the test substance was determined to be 1.003 g/mL in a non-GLP test according to OECD 109. Further, the density of the test substance is reported to be 1.008 g/cm3 at 47 °C [GESTIS substance database], which confirms this experimental result.

Relative density was not at 20 °C, but at 45 °C, but the determined value at 45 °C is applicable for CSA.
