Four aquatic toxicity studies are available: a 96-hour study in Pimephales promelas; a 48-hour study in Daphnia magna; a 72-hour study in Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata; and an activated sludge respiration inhibition test. Due to the poor water solubility of the test material, nominal concentrations or WAF loading rates were used to set the dose groups in each study. No adverse effects of the test material were seen in any of the studies. It is concluded that the substance shows no concern for aquatic toxicity at nominal concentrations that exceed its solubility in water.
