Description of key information

The substance thermally degrades before boiling occurs.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The boiling point/range of the substance was determined in a GLP study conducted in accordance with OECD Test Guideline 103. As the test approached 300 deg C, the test material appeared to thermally degrade, turning from a clear light yellow liquid to dark reddish brown. The test was stopped at 340 deg C; no steady stream of bubbles (that would indicate boiling) were observed.
