Description of key information

The test substance was determined to be thermally stable below 297ºC at which point it starts to thermally decompose.

Additional information

Justification for classification or non-classification

The thermal stability of the substance was determined using differential thermal analysis (DTA) and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). One endothermic region with an average onset temperature of 36.1ºC was identified, consistent with melting. An exothermic region prior to the boiling point of the test substance was also identified with an average onset temperature of 297ºC, consistent with thermal decomposition. Therefore, the test substance was determined to be thermally stable below 297ºC.
