Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The estimated soil adsorption coefficient of allyl acetoacetate was found to be 10.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Koc at 20 °C:
8

Additional information

Soil Adsorption Coefficient i.e Koc value of allyl acetoacetate was estimated as 10 by means of MCI method as well as PBT Profiler database. This indicates that allyl acetoacetate will have low tendency of sorption to soil and sediment alongwith rapid migration potential to groundwater.

The supporting studies too indicate low Koc suggesting that allyl acetoacetate will have low adosrption capacity to the organic fraction of the soil and the chemical shall show easy mobility with the soil water content.

The key value of Koc of 10 (25 degC) when converted at 20°C is equivalent to a value of 8.
