Using the weight of evidence approach, the inhibition concentration (IC50) value of allyl acetoacetate in microorganism (Tetrahymena pyriformis) for 48 hr study on the basis of effect on population was estimated to be 919.7781 mg/L. The other studies also indicate that the chemical shall not exhibit aquatic toxicity to aquatic microorganisms.
