Description of key information

Allyl acetoacetate ignited when the temperature was 950 degC . Thus it can be concluded that allyl acetoacetate is flammable only at high temperature of about 950 degC

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Flammability:
non flammable

Additional information

From the experimental values of flammability, allyl acetoacetate ignited when the temperature was 950 degC . Thus it can be concluded that allyl acetoacetate is flammable only at high temperature of about 950 degC. However since such high temperatures are not found under normal circumstances of transportation and use, allyl acetoacetate was considered non-flammable for chemical safety assessment.

Justification for classification or non-classification

Allyl acetoacetate is considered to be a non-flammable liquid for the purpose of classification
