Description of key information

Disperse Red 302 is a dark red powder. The melting point of the Disperse Red 302 was determined to be 175 °C. The boiling point could not be detected up to decomposition temperature (thermic decomposition at 320 °C). The density at 20 °C was determined to be 1.9540 g/cm³. The vapour pressure was determined to be 1.46 10-9 Pa. The partition coefficient n-octanol/water (log Pow) of the test item at 20 °C was determined to be 6.39. The water solubility at a temperature of 20 °C was determined to be 0.224 μg/l. The surface tension could not be determined as it is insoluble in water. The auto-ignition temperature of the test substance is >550 °C. Disperse Red 302 should be considered as not highly flammable, non-explosive, and non-oxidising.
