Conclusion on classification

The following acute data has been obtained on KOMAD 710. No chronic data is available.

96 h LC50 (fish) = 0.89 mg/L

48 h EC50 (daphnia) = 1.5 mg/L

72 h EC50 (algae) = 0.87 mg/L

Using Table 4.1.0 in Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008, the classification should be Category Chronic 1 (H410) and Acute Category 1 (H400). The chronic category 1 is assigned as although the substance is readily biodegradable the calculated Log Kow is ≥ 4.
