Executive summary:


The autoignition temperature of the test substance was assessed using the procedure described in EU Regulation (EC) 440/2008, Annex Part A test A15.


The test covers the determination of hot and cool flame autoignition temperatures of a liquid chemical in air at atmospheric pressure in a uniformly heated vessel.

A small, metered sample of the product to be tested is inserted into a uniformly heated 500 ml glass flask containing air at a predetermined temperature. The contents of the flask are observed in a dark environment for 10 minutes following insertion of the sample, or until autoignition occurs.

Results and Conclusion

The autoignition temperature of the test substance was determined to be 338°C.
