Description of key information

No data are required. This endpoint is not relevant for an inorganic substance. Ammonium fluoride hydrofluoride is a simple inorganic compound and therefore will not be biodegraded.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Ammonium fluoride hydrofluoride is a simple inorganic compound and therefore will not be biodegraded. The substance will exist in the aqueous environment predominantly as its consituent ions. Ammonia has a critical role in the nitrogen cycle and when introduced into the aquatic environment is rapidly converted into other nitrogenous forms under aerobic conditions. Fluoride will exist as various inorganic and organic forms.
