Description of key information

No melting/freezing point of Oxooel LS 13 was observed above -100°C in a differential scanning calorimetry test performed in accordance with EC A.1 and OECD 102.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

When cooling the substance to -150°C a glass transition at -141°C was observed. This indicates that the substance had solidified amorphously instead of crystalline.

In a supporting study (company data, limited documentation) similar results as in the guideline study were obtained.
