Additional information

Oxooel LS13 was determined to be neither shock sensitive nor thermally sensitive in tests according to EC A.14. Additionally, based on the assessment of structural features of the substance and calculation of the oxygen balance of representative constituents of the substance it was concluded that Oxooel LS 13 does not present a danger of explosion according to the criteria of the EU classification scheme.

Justification for classification or non-classification

Based on experimental results in accordance with EC A.14 and assessment of structural features of components of the substance it is considered not to be explosive and it therefore does not have to be classified for explosive properties under the CLP Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008.
