Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Based upon the physico-chemical properties and bio-concentration factor of allyl acetoacetate, it has been deduced that the chemical has potentially no bio-accumulative property and hence shall be rapidly eliminated from the body system through the bile/feaces or urine.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Bioaccumulation potential:
no bioaccumulation potential

Additional information

Based upon the physico-chemical properties and bio-concentration factor of allyl acetoacetate, it has been deduced that the chemical has potentially no bio-accumulative property and hence shall be rapidly eliminated from the body system through the bile/feaces or urine. This has been concluded based on the properties like octanol-water partition co-efficient, water solubility and solubility in organic solvents, bio-concentration factor and related bio-accumulation potential.

However, the percentage absorption rate through the various routes of absorption like oral, dermal and inhalation has not been deduced.
