Description of key information
The flash point of the substance is 53 °C at 1013.25 hPa (closed cup).

Three studies were conducted. The flash point at 1013.25 hPa of propionic acid was determined to be in a range from 50.5 °C to 53 °C. Several reliable literature sources reported the flash point of propionoc acid to be 52 °C.
The result of the recent study which is 53°C was chosen as the most reliable one for propionic acid.
