Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The boiling point of propionic acidl was consistently reported from different literature sources (peer reviewed data bases (REAXYS and HSDB) and authoritative secondary sources) to be in a range of 140,7 °C and 141.4 °C at 1013 hPa. They are all regarded to be reliable for propionic acid. Three BASF studies reported the boiling point to be in a range of 140.5 °C and 141.4 °C. Thus a boiling range of 140.7 to 141.4 °C at 1013 hPa is regarded to be reliable for 1-(dimethylamino)propan-2-ol.
