Description of key information

Water-octanol partition coefficient log Pow was determined i) experimentally with the HPLC method in accordance with the OECD 117 and EC A.8 methods under GLP. This result was selected as the key. ii) A QSAR modelling result with EPISuite 4.11 is additionally available as a WoE.

Additional information

The water-octanol partition coefficient was determined experimentally by the HPLC method OECD 117 and EC A.8 under GLP.

The determined log Pow is 7.63 at 30 °C as a mean of two injections. The test result is considered as valid (Klimisch 1) and selected as the key for classification and labelling and PBT assessment.

Modelled log Pow was 8.49 at 25 °C using KOWWIN v. 1.68 of EPISuite 4.11. The modelling result is assessed as reliable with restrictions (Klimisch 2), and the result is used as weight of evidence for classification and labelling and PBT assessment.
