They study authors calculated that:

  • < 100 μm: 9.1% v : v, < 10 μm: 0.06% v : v, < 5 μm: 0.02% v : v
Conclusions:
The average d10 was 105 μm, the average d50 was 240 μm, and the average d90 was 410 μm.
Executive summary:

The particle size distribution (PSD) was determined according to NEN-ISO Method 13320-1 and in accordance with European Chemicals Agency (ECHA), Guidance on information requirements and chemical safety assessment, Chapter R.7a, Endpoint specific guidance, May 2008.

The PSD characteristics of the sample are reported in the table below.

Description of key information

The particle size distribution (PSD) was determined according to NEN-ISO Method 13320-1.

Additional information

The average d10 was 105 μm, the average d50 was 240 μm, and the average d90 was 410 μm. Approximately 9.1% v:v. of particles were <100 μm, 0.06% v:v. were <10 μm and 0.02% v:v. were < 5 μm.
