Additional information

After evaporation or exposure to air, 2,2’,2’’-nitrilotriethanol, the major constituent, will be rapidly degraded by indirect photochemical processes with OH-radicals. In water photodegradation half-lifes are estimated to be 4 - 342 days depending on the OH-concentration. According to the structural properties of 2,2’,2’’-nitrilotriethanol, hydrolysis is not expected to be an important fate path in the environment.
