EC number: 204-279-1
CAS number: 118-82-1
The preliminary estimate of water
solubility was <0.457 mg/L.
The mean peak areas relating to
the standard and sample solutions are shown in the following table:
Mean Peak Area
Standard 10.1 mg/L
Standard 10.0 mg/L
Standard 10.8 mg/L
Standard 10.3 mg/L
Sample 1 was omitted as not enough
sample remained for analysis after centrifugation.
The concentration (g/L) of test
material in the sample solution is shown in the following table:
Sampling Time (hour)
1.57 x 10-5†
6.30 x 10-6
6.49 x 10-6
5.03 x 10 -7
5.48 x 10-6
2.60 x 10-6
1.47 x 10-6
1.90 x 10-6
7.78 x 10-6
4.15 x 10-6
* Sample 1 not analyzed due to insufficient aliquot after centrifugation.
† Sample 2A not included in calculation of overall results.
The overall results are shown in
the following table:
Mean Concentration (g/L)
<1.0 x 10-5
The linearity of the detector
response with respect to concentration was assessed over the nominal
concentration range of 0 to 20 mg/L. This was satisfactory with a
correlation coefficient of 1.000 being obtained. Recovery of analysis of
the sample procedure was assessed and proved adequate for the test.
Recovery data is shown in the following table:

Method A6 of Commission Directive 92/69/EEC.
Method 105 of the OECD Guidelines for Testing of Chemicals, 27 July
Method 830.7840 of the OPPTS Guidelines.
The water solubility was determined according to EU method A.6 to be
less than the detection limit for the method of analysis, based on the
concentration of the lowest calibration standard, i.e. < 2.15 x 10 -5
g/L at 20 ºC.
Key study: experimental results: GLP study. OECD 105 the water solubility of the test substance was 0.0319± 0.00392 μg a.i./L (n = 5, CV = 12.3%). At 20 deg. C
