Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

For TEA, concerning the acute toxicity to microorganisms a test performed by Klecka et al. (1985) according to OECD TG 209 was identified as key study. Using activated, predominantly municipal sludge as inoculum in a static procedure an EC50 of > 1000 mg/l after 180 minutes of exposure was calculated.

For DEA, there is one Non-GLP OECD 209 guideline study available (1992). In this short-term respiration test with domestic activated sludge the determined EC10was >1000 mg/L (referred to nominal concentration).
