Description of key information

The acute toxicity of the test item to the freshwater fish rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) has been investigated and gave a 96h-LL50 value of greater than 100 mg/L loading rate WAF.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The acute toxicity (assessed by lethality) of the test item to Oncorhynchus mykiss (freshwater fish) for a duration of 96 hours was assessed according to the OECD testing guideline 203. Fish were exposed under semi-static conditions to a limit loading rateof 100 mg/L. The test item being insoluble, WAF solution was prepared.

No effect being observed at the loading rate of 100 mg/L, the 96h-LL50 was estimated to be higher than the 100 mg/L loading rate WAF.
