Additional information

Data of the acute toxicity of Ethoxylated bisphenol A diacrylate in freshwater organisms are available for all four trophic levels (fish, aquatic invertebrates and algae). No effects were observed at the highest loading rate tested (100 mg/L WAF solution) for fish and algae. Otherwise, aquatic invertebrates were more sensitive to the test item with 48h-EL50 = 6 mg/L. No observed Effect Concentration for microorganisms is also available.

Freshwater fish:

LL50value for Oncorhynchus mykiss was higher than 100 mg/L (WAF solution) after 96h of exposure.

Freshwater invertebrates:

EL50value for Daphnia magna was determined to be 6 mg/L after 48h of exposure.

Freshwater algae:

EL50value for Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata was higher than 100 mg/L (WAF solution) after 96h of exposure.

Aerobic microorganisms:

Based on a screening tests to assess the biodegradation in water (OECD 301B) during 28 days, the NOEC was determined to be 14.3 mg/L.
