Description of key information

0.55 Pa at 25 °C

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Vapour pressure:
0.55 Pa
at the temperature of:
25 °C

Additional information

The vapour pressure of the substance methyl laurate (CAS 111-82-0) was obtained from Hazard Substance Data Bank (HSDB).

The vapour pressure (0.42 Pa at 20 °C) determined by QSAR calculation with SPARC (v4.6) is comparable, while the vapour pressure reported by Boublik et al (1973) was measured by increased temperature (2666 - 5346 Pa at 149 - 163 °C).
