No data available concerning terrestric toxicity.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

According to column 2 section 9.4 of REACH Annex IX and X, the toxicity testing to terrestrial organisms shall be proposed depending on the results of the chemical safety assessment. Direct exposure to soil is not likely, since the substance is not intentionally applied to soil. Indirect exposure to soil is likely e.g. via agricultural use of sewage sludge. The substance is readily biodegradable. Hydrolysis is not expected, therefore no hydrolysis products have to be assessed. Adsorption to solid soil phase is not expected (log Koc 3). Additionally, all risk characterization ratios (RCR’s) are under 1.0. Therefore, no tests on terrestrial organisms are provided.

In accordance with column 2 section 9.4 of REACH Annexes IX and X, the equilibrium partitioning method may be applied to assess the hazard to soil organisms in the absence of toxicity data for soil organisms.
