Description of key information

This study was performed in accordance with ISO 13320 -1 to determine the particle size distribution of MNQ (N-Methyl-N’-nitroguanidine) by laser diffraction.
The distribution of the particles shows a global maximum. The distribution is unimodal. The median X50­value is 41.3 µm. That means, 50 % of the particles are of a size < 41,3 µm and 50 % are of a size > 41,3 µm. Maximum particle size is 200 µm, minimum particle size is below 9 µm.
