Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

GLP compliance:
no
Type of method:
pour point
Melting / freezing pt.:
-57 °C
Atm. press.:
ca. 1 013 hPa

There are no values given for pressure but assumed to be measured at normal pressure (1013 hPa). No information is given on specification on decomposition/sublimation temperature.

Conclusions:
The Pour Point of TEGDA was determined to be -57 °C.
Executive summary:

The Pour Point of TEGDA was determined to be -57 °C.

Additional information

The melting/freezing point of the substance 1,3 -butylene diacetate (CAS 1117 -31 -3) was deduced from similar substances: Ethylene diacetate (CAS 111 -55 -7) has a melting point of -78 °C, the 2,2'-[ethane-1,2-diylbis(oxy)]bisethyl diacetate (Ethylenetriglycol diacetate) (CAS 111 -21 -7) has a melting point of -57 °C.

Therefore the melting point of the substance 1,3 -butylene diacetate (CAS 1117 -31 -3) was deduced to be <-20 °C.
