Additional information

Justification for classification or non-classification

m-Toluic aid does not contain any chemical groups associated with explosive properties. According to the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS) of the United Nations, m-toluic acid does not have to be classified as explosive. According to the criteria of regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 and its subsequent adaptations, m-toluic acid does not have to be classified and has no obligatory labelling requirement for explosivity.
