Description of key information

Biodegradation in water

The test item was investigated for its ready biodegradability in a MITI(I)-Test over a period of 28 days, in accordance with EC-method C.4 -F. The percentage biodegradation of the test item reached 4.18% after 28 days based on BOD. The test item was not considered to be have significant inhibitory effects on the secondary effluent microorganisms. Based on the results of this study, the test item is considered not readily biodegradable.

Biodegradation in water and sediment

The water solubility is 0.44 mg/l and therefore considered to be insoluble in water. Furthermore, based on the intended uses of the substance, direct and indirect exposure of sediment is unlikely. Therefore, this study was waived.

Biodegradation in soil

Based on the intended uses of the substance, direct and indirect exposure of soil is unlikely. Therefore, this study was waived.
