PBT assessment

Currently viewing:

Administrative data

PBT assessment: overall result

PBT status:
the substance is not PBT / vPvB
Justification:

Persistence Assessment

Due to the results from chapter 4.1 Degradation, the mixture is not persistent (not P) and not very persistent (not vP) in the environment.

Bioaccumulation Assessment

Due to the results from chapter 4.3 Bioaccumulation the mixture is not bioaccumulative (not B) and not very bioaccumulative (not vB).

Toxicity Assessment

Due to the results of the aquatic toxicity studies (see chapter 7.1. Aquatic compartment including sediment) and the relevant mammalian toxicity studies (see chapter 5. Human Health Hazard Assessment), a mixture with 0.1% butadiene or above has to be regarded as toxic (T) and a mixture with below 0.1% butadiene has to be regarded as not toxic (not T).

Summary and overall Conclusions on PBT or vPvB Properties

Regarding all available data on biotic and abiotic degradation, bioaccumulation and toxicity it can be stated that the mixture does not fulfill the PBT criteria (not PBT) and not the vPvB criteria (not vPvB).
