Description of key information

The test substance is fully degraded from sediments in aerobic and anaerobic conditions or associated with solids.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Three studies performed according to OECD 308 and OECD 314 D guidelines are available. It could be demonstrated, that the test substance is mineralised under aerobic and anaerobic conditions in water-sediment simulation tests to an extent exceeding 76%. In river water with and without sediment, the test substance was mineralised to a degree ranging from 87.3 to 93.1% (Marks 1993). In an artificial water-sediment system degradation of the test substance was found as 76.9% after 92 days and 76.4% after 137 days in an anaerobic water-sediment test system.
