Additional information

Data from chronic tests on Ceriodaphnia dubia are available for the structural analogous substances ethylamine and n-butylamine. The GLP-studies were performed by Springborn Labs and sponsored by Elf Atochem. The studies were conducted according to the EPA guideline 1002.0 (1989) and resulted in NOEC values (survival and reproduction) of 3.2 mg/L for ethylamine and 1.5 mg/L for n-butylamine. Therefore it is deemed justified to derive a NOEC for n-propylamine of > 1.5 and < 3.2 mg/L.
