Conclusion on classification

According to criteria laid down in Annex VI of Directive 67/548/EEC, there is no environmental classification requirement for ethyl 3-ethoxypropanoate, since the lowest acute toxicity value to daphnids, fish, and algae is between 10 and 100 mg/L and ethyl 3-ethoxypropanoate is readily biodegradable.
