The boiling point was determined according to ASTM E537/07 (Standard Test Method for the Thermal Stability Of Chemicals By Differential Scanning Calorimetry, DSC). This method is referred to within OECD 103 with regard to determination by DSC. A boiling point above 450 °C was determined, the maximum temperature reached by the instrument (Merieux, 2016).

This is supported by QSAR: US EPA EPI Suite module MPBPVPWIN (v1.43; Sept 2010) estimates a boilint point of 596.35 °C.
