Conclusion on classification

Aquatic Toxicity acute: The fish, daphnia, and algae acute aquatic toxicity are greater than 1 mg/L. As a result, the substance does not meet the criteria for classification according to Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008, Annex I section 4.1.

 

Aquatic Toxicity chronic: The fish, acute aquatic toxicity is greater than 100 mg/L (96h LC50 (fish) = 113.8 mg/L). However, the submission substance is not readily biodegradable, but hydrolyses >70% with 28 days and the hydrolysis product (isopropanol) is not acutely toxic. As a result, the substance does not meet the criteria for chronic classification according to Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008, Annex I section 4.1.
