Additional information

Information regarding flashpoint of IPC was sourced from Merck Index: An Encyclopedia of Chemicals, Drugs, and Biologicals (14th Ed.), and was calculated using the ACD/I-Lab service ACD/LogP v8.02. Both of these sources contain peer-reviewed data of Klimisch-2 reliability. The results from both sources are comparable and state that the substance has a flash point in the range of -35 to -32ºC. In the information obtained from Merck index, the method used was reported as closed cup, while no information on the method used was provided in the calculation method.

The available information is considered to be adaquate for the purposes of classification and labelling, and risk assessment, according to Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006, Annex XI, 1.2, based on the weight-of-evidence of available information.
