Description of key information

Calculated pKa= >11 at 25°C

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

In consequence of the extremely low water solubility (<0.1 mg/L), the dissociation constant could not be determined experimentally. The pKa values have to be calculated instead.

The pKa-value was calculated using program SPARC v.4.2 which resulted a range of 11 to 12.6. An additional calculation using program ACD/pKa which yielded a pKa value of 11.7 at 25°C.

It can be assumed that the test substance has a pKa value of >11.
