Guidance on Safe Use
Administrative data
First-aid measures
If swallowed:
Do not induce vomiting unless directed to do so by medical personnel. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Loosen tight clothing such as a collar, tie, belt or waistband. Get immediate medical attention.
Eye Contact:
Check for and remove any contact lenses. In case of contact, immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Cold water may be used. Get medical attention.
Skin Contact:
Iimmediately flush skin with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes while removing contaminated clothing and shoes. Cold water may be used. Cover irritated skin with an emollient. Get medical attention in case of persistent irritation. Wash clothing before reuse. Thoroughly clean shoes before reuse.
Inhalation:
Evacuate the victim to a safe area as soon as possible. Loosen tight clothing such as a collar, tie, belt or waistband. If breathing is difficult, administer oxygen. If the victim is not breathing, perform mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. Get immediate medical attention.
Note to physician:
Treat symptomatically.
Fire-fighting measures
Suitable extinguishing media: Flood with water.
Precautions: Dust from this product is explosive.
Special protective equipment for firefighters: Wear a self-contained breathing apparatus.
Other information: Material will not burn.
Accidental release measures
Keep persons away and upwind from spill. Personal Protective Equipment must be worn, see Personal Protection Section of the MSDS for PPE recommendations. Prevent entry into sewers and waterways. Pick up free solid for recycle and/or disposal. Use appropriate tools to place the spilled solid in a convenient waste disposal container. Avoid raising dust.
Handling and storage
Handling:
Open container in a well ventilated area. Avoid creating or breathing dusts. Wear full PPE to avoid getting in eyes, on skin or on clothing. Maintain good housekeeping practices. Wash thoroughly after handling.
Storage:
Keep away from moisture and incompatible material such as alkalis.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Engineering Controls:
Use process enclosures, local exhaust ventilation, or other engineering controls to minimize airborne dust levels.
Personal Protection:
Splash goggles, dust respirator, chemical resistant gloves, protective arm sleeves, aprons, full body coveralls, boots, and head coverings.
Stability and reactivity
Stability: product is stable under normal conditions of handling and use.
Conditions of Instability: dust generation, incompatible materials, spontaneous polymerization does not readily occur
Incompatibility with various substances: oxidizing agents and alkalis.
Disposal considerations
Waste should be considered to be hazardous. Dispsose in compliance with local, regional and European regulations.
